On September 11, 2020, I was found Suitable for Parole after 32 years out of the 15 to life sentence. On November 17, 2020, I was transferred to Mcfarland Detention Center (ICE), facing deportation to my Country, Cuba, where I spent 180 days, and on June 30, I was released by the Government. I went to Francisco Homes Transitional Housing, and Six Months later, I visited Sister Mary Sean at the PREP Office to thank her and her crew for all the help that they provided me during all of those years of incarceration. I started working at PREP as a Volunteer, and two years later, I became the new Coordinator at the PREP Office, where I am working to the present day. I thank GOD, Sister Mary at PREP, and Sister Teresa at Francisco Homes for all the support I received during my transition from prison to living free.
